Welcome to the October Club. Oxford’s original independent communist student society. Founded in 1931. Banned in 1933. Relaunched in 2021.
We aim to provide a home for students on the radical left at Oxford. We organise socials where you can meet other like-minded lefties, including Rum and Revolution every Friday; support and join ongoing radical campaigns within the city and the University; invite high-profile leftist speakers to discuss liberation; and organise events including film-screenings, reading groups and more.
